Consultants drive the progress of a project by researching, analysing and providing innovative solutions that address the problems faced by their client. They are responsible for owning and delivering on work that will contribute significantly to the deliverables presented to the client. The role will enhance critical thinking and client management ability whilst improving knowledge of consulting frameworks and building crucial skills in PowerPoint and Excel.

What do we look for?

BusinessOne is looking for passionate, motivated and diligent thinkers from all faculties and years. Our ideal consultant is eager to drive outcomes, willing to learn and grow, and is keen to participate professionally and socially.

​

What are my responsibilities?

A BusinessOne Consultant is required to contribute and strategise approx. 4-5 hrs/week to the 12-week long project with their given client by:

​

  • Performing research and analysis to synthesize business insights and produce tailored recommendations.

  • Employing design thinking and creativity to develop innovative, but pragmatic, solutions to address client needs.

  • Producing a high quality of deliverable, meeting BusinessOne’s IPAC standard (Insightful, Pragmatic, Aspirational and Catalysing).

  • Proactively learning and developing skills where appropriate to your tasks.

  • Preparing for and attending regular team and client meetings, as well as compulsory BusinessOne workshops.

Project Leaders structure and manage their project and lead a team of 4-6 consultants (based upon project size and scope). The role will enhance your client engagement, communication, and leadership skills and will provide an excellent foundation for future roles within BusinessOne and the broader workforce.

What do we look for?

BusinessOne is searching for strategic thinkers who are able to proactively explore and analyse beyond the surface of client specifications in order to produce insightful and impactful recommendations. The expectation of Project Leader is that the personal and professional development of team members remains a top priority along with the quality of your client deliverables.

​

What are my responsibilities?

A BusinessOne Project Leader is required to spend 6-7hrs/week to lead and facilitate the 12-week long project by:

​

  • Breaking down high-level actionables into discrete tasks, and delegating them based on ability, the potential for development, and quality.

  • Ensuring all deliverables meet the BusinessOne IPAC standard (Insightful, Pragmatic, Aspirational, and Catalysing).

  • Consistently and proactively identifying and facilitating methods of maximising the quality of project deliverables.

  • Communicating with the client on a weekly basis to define project scope, update deliverables and ensure a rewarding experience for all parties.

  • Being accountable for organisation and execution of regular team and client meetings.
